Date: 22 June 2019
7.30am – 5pm Meet Craig Wetjen and Steve Scalone at the Shed 6 entrance.
WHAT IS PROJECT STREET 7:30?
Craig Wetjen and Steve Scalone have teamed up to create a unique opportunity for other photographers to become part of a special photographic collaboration. A fun and challenging day that starts with shooting the streets of Wellington, editing and printing your image to then having it displayed in the Arcade at Shed 6 for a silent auction… All in one day! And all for charity!
The photographers will start the day in Wellington CBD to spend a few hours concentrating on what they love to photograph within the city. After the photography, we make our way to Shed 6 on Wellington waterfront to print your image and have it ready for the exhibition and silent auction to start by 5pm. The cost of paper and printing is included in your Project Street ticket entry.
We’ll be announcing the event to local media and businesses and an auction of the prints all to go to charity (Ronald MacDonald House Wellington) at the final close off of the silent auction, 3pm on Monday 24th June. We have already raised over $23,500 for charity in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide in 2018. We would really love you to consider being a part of this project. Let’s create an amazing exhibition together and continue to connect photography with the local community.
